For me I try to stay far and make use of the movement, otherwise I find myself missing the counter. Not sure if that's what you are referring to. The successful counter will silence you like in thaemine g2, which will stop the movement.

It seems like sideway counter is very tough because mirror is moving. Anyway DB is mostly out of counter duty at that mech because second hit can make you counter wrong one.

My issue is how the first hit of the counter simply doesn’t register and if I try to create space for the 2nd hit counter of earth cleaver it would still miss like half the time. I was considering changing the tripod.

@@AQ-yn5ns the first hit can register, it's happened to me at least, although infrequent. Usually I just end up passing through the mirrors coz of reasons 😅

Yeah I only failed two times against counter, one was because ping spark and other was because I cast counter too far away. I believe Earth Cleaver is not a bad skill for sword counter I even remember clip of someone else nailing that somehow, even you get paralysed by sword because of off timing. Most of problem is coming from you're countering too far away imo. Not quite sure of second phase but I believe you're asking for how to avoid counter duty in x87 mech. Links are summoned in order of whom are far away then others. They created new system called targeted weakness which makes frontal attack and back attack vaild in certain parts at any direction. It's for only behemoth now

Didn't feel that bad when I actullay played it but yeah, latest content should've been better, but then again it's 16 men raid with no biweekly thing or roster thing.

@@Crowoly What do you mean by "no roster thing" ? Yeah after Thaemine and Echidna it just feels off, the dragon looks challenged, it looks like a big chicken with no idea how to fight whatsoever, really underwhelming :(

It's 4.6% nerf iirc it doesn't seem that serious to me. Damage is noticable tho

If sura mode takes 50% dps contribution roughly then it's slightly more than 7% nerf. It doesn't seem brutal to me

@@Crowoly yeah it isnt, people saw the 10% and 20% nerf and thought the class was dead, it is far from dead

I see 5x3 sura breakers with nothing special about their builds out dpsing absolutely everyone by a ton on a daily basis, this engraving is broken as hell and this nerf won't be enough to kill it.

It was done a long time ago so it's very vague but I remember this took under 10 hours total after I found out frostcraft can work, including previous one.

If you has precise then it's very ok to go adrn 1 build but it's kinda weird that your crit rate is only 56%. You will have 71% at least with adren 1 build with master elixir set

@@Crowoly the 56% is not the trixion parse, rather its the raw character detail. When doing parse I was getting around 69-72ish %. You think its kinda low ? I'm at 640 crit currently

Putting galewinds on windcut and surprise attacks make cycle faster. Since I don't use RC, I don't have to utilise rage.

@@cikuozzo because blade dance is fast enough. And you use windcut when you're not in death stance and it's still starting skill of rotation so that's why

Well first of all I don't use dps meter so I really have no clue on what proper cpm is. It's better to find out by yourself on log site. I can calculate my DPS numbers because MVP screen tells me. For me Surge is about knowledge so If I count two important things about surge then one is that you need to memorize exact stack of each of your skills. Like explosive windcut gives you 8 stacks, turning slash gives you 5 stacks and etc. It's even better if you memorize some variables as well. You don't need to memorize all of these below at first. You just need enough experience. To say examples, surprise attack gives you 7 stacks but if you aren't close to boss then it gives you only single stack. Spincutter is similar too. Turning slash gives you 5 stacks but it is built relatively slower so sometimes when you do turning slash - surprise attack at 48 stacks you have to delay landing surge slightly. Earth cleaver only builds 2 stacks so it's ok to use to get closer to boss. Whatever rotiation you do, it wouldn't affected that much or you can replace it with single spincutter hit. Other important one is memorizing where exactly mech starts at HP bar. then you have multiple way of dealing with mech. For example, you can see thaemine starts albion at 275x so it's better to go to center of the map and start dpsing immediately. Or even further if you have 60 stacks surge and you apprehend who was aggro and thaemine's head direction, then you can just pre-land surge right after he is shown as well. It's also much better to memorize time-based pattern. Like clash for ground destruction in G3 and the reflective sphere + vykas counter pattern in voldis G4. but honestly even myself don't memorize those things that much lol. But it definitely helps too.

@@tongvietdung5908 surge just requires a ton of dedication and patience, both DB specs are BY FAR the hardest classes in the game as they are both 100% uptime classes and entropy as well, which is very difficult to perform at high level, do not get discouraged, during my first clear on G3 i wasn't very happy with my performance either but in 2nd run already i was 24%, just give it time and try to find out what you can do and can't do over time, CPM for surge is also a difficult thing, i'd say to get a proper result you need to record your run, discount the time in which you literally cannot attack (like bringing out the poop, doing clashes, not damaging due to luring the boss middle, clone fight, cutscene etc) and then aim for 6 per minute if you get really comfy you can even close in on 7 but that also requires good patterns and basically a perfect run so 5-6 is a more proper goal for a clean fight, without discounting time in which you cannot attack it is hard to differ between performance issue and pattern RNG as there can be easily over a minute lost to things out of your control and that makes a big difference

KBW wouldn't have efficiency with Adrn 1, even worse at pre-elixir livl. Sorry to say this but engravings are not an area where creativity works. If people don't use it then there's reason behind it

@@Crowoly So if I use the standard 5x3 engraving, can I use another engraving to replace the ether predator for the +1? I was looking at loawa rank when there were some people using Raid Captain and if I'm not mistaken there was someone using Cursed Doll but it was +2.

@@e-motions2515 I don't think there are other lvl 1 choice instead of class engraving(like gunsligher's pm) and EP1, Adrn 1. Reason behind lvl 2 curse doll is because any 5x3+2 is basically better than any 5x3+1. so that's why people tolerate it. But adrn 2 is better for most classes so they kind of... cope cause 97 is expensive RNG gearing one.

​@@e-motions2515 PS if you really don't wanna use EP1 then RC3 MI3 Adrn 1 is 1.77% better than KBW3 Adrn 3 EP1 with elixir. But you better utilise 2 rage runs for RC3 MI3.

your dps estimate is a lot higher than it should be, you need to subtract sidereal dmg from max hp total dmg dealt across players is usually around 115-116b for hard g3 which would put your dps at around 46m

@@Xelthh Is it how log measure? I might fix things then also real boss hp prolly is not 115b. I know sidereal dmg proportionates in boss' hp so diff between global server and kr server might be not that different but I still have to compare dmg

​@@Crowoly you're right kr g3 hard has 122b compared to 107b we have in the west, sidereal damage and sword hp is the same across both versions so its a pretty safe assumption kr player damage to the boss is around 130b which would mean around 52m dps

@@kelvins2534 You have shorter dps cycle so you can land surge before maelstrom being gone, then you don't have demerit of MI. But it needs 2 rage runes for consistency since you have RC as well. This engraving setting has merit on guardian raid because of no EP and there is no panelty of KBW. But it lacks crit rate. MI3 RC3 has 1% higher damage than KBW3 Adrn3 so it's your choice.

Bard gave me guardian tune and thaemine had heavenly tune AP debuff but it's still tank-able without those. I remember damage is 60K originally for each wave If you don't wanna mess up your HP then you still can spacebar through wave like albion in G3, it's not that hard I was just greedy to dps here so I just endured it

I use 30~50 vibrance meter in color filter. This one is 30 one.

It's 3rd anniversary skin, memory one

It seems like RE has many variation on build so it's a bit grey area to me but I still think RE is one of top tier. Dps-wise surge is better and RE has merit on some comfort

@@CrowolyI recently swapped to RE from surge but I’m playing instant cast build, thinking of trying the blitz version with it soon instead of using earth cleaver, but i wonder if they’ll ever make RE like surge level of brooen

@@applepumpkin Better pull out dark axel and bringing other dps skills would be better so it would be something like 7d 4cd gem setting And I mean, RE is just only a little behind surge tho...

You made it far you will get it! Well there's no reason to go back to dark axel build for now. If I've got suddenly bored of current state then I will use axel again but I will probably stick with turning slash til summer
